At first glance, the Root: 1 Cabernet Sauvignon is aesthetically pleasing to the eye; The bottle is slender, sleek, and a beautiful color of green. There is also a great picture of a root that covers almost all of the front of the bottle, along with some historical information on Chile and how the country creates it’s delicious wines.
The wine is a rich dark berry color. The aroma is sweet, slightly woodsy, with hints of black currant and berries. The initial encounter with the wine, begins on a very sweet note, and in the middle it becomes slightly dry, finishing on the back end with notes of cherries and other berries.
Although I did not initially like this wine as much as some other red’s, this has turned out to be an amazing selection.
